Painting T-shirts, banners and a cleanliness rally through Chitragupta Nagar with school children, teachers and our volunteers.
Cleanliness, our children decided, begins with the corner of their own street. The day started with banner painting at the centre and ended with a rally through the colony, where the children handed cloth bags to shopkeepers and asked them to stop giving out plastic.
Two hundred participants cleaned a kilometre of roadside and planted fourteen saplings with the help of the local ward office.
