Two hours a week is enough to change a child's year.

Why volunteer

You do not need to be an artist to help an art school

Teachers, students, retired officers, homemakers, photographers, accountants - our volunteers come from every walk of life. What we ask for is regularity, not brilliance.

  • Teach: art, music, computers, spoken English, Maths (2 hours a week)
  • Organise: health camps, competitions, exhibitions, plantation drives
  • Professional skills: photography, design, accounting, social media, legal
  • From home: translation, documentation, donor follow-up calls

What happens next

Your first month at KRRISH

Call

Our coordinator calls you within two days to understand your interests and timings.

Visit

Come to the centre, meet the teachers, sit through a batch and see how a normal day works.

Shadow

Assist an existing teacher or volunteer for two weeks - child-safety guidelines explained on day one.

Own a batch

Once you are comfortable, take charge of a slot. A certificate is issued after three months.
