Welcome to KRRISH
"The farmer is the pillar of modern society - and KRRISH means to help the one in need."
As we hear the word 'KRRISH' the first word that comes to mind is 'farmer': they grow grain in barren land with hard work and nurture all of us. KRRISH has been working for society since 2003 and was registered in 2007, with a simple aim - education, healthcare and self-employment for families that are usually left out.

2003
KRRISH begins
A handful of friends in Kankarbagh start teaching and running creative classes for children of daily-wage families.
2007
Registered & the art school opens
KRRISH is registered as a society (271/2006-7) and Tamanna School of Art starts its first batches.
2009
Recognised for degree courses
Tamanna School of Art is registered with Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh - students now appear for the five-year Visharad/Bhaskar courses.
2019
Convocation & music festival
Visharad and Bhaskar final students from Bihar and Jharkhand receive their certificates at a convocation followed by a music and dance festival.
2020
Online classes through the pandemic
Art and music teachers continue classes over video calls and share material at the centre for families without a smartphone.
2023
20 years of KRRISH

Our classes run at the Morning Star School Campus and the office works from Rajkishori Complex. Walk in any working day - you are welcome to sit through a class before you decide to help.
